Branch Manager
Compensation: $74,400.00 annual salary
Estimated Annual Compensation (average): $115,000.00
Listed below are the “typical” duties of a Branch Manager. The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall health and success of their office, and as such, may be required to perform duties above and beyond those listed below.
Responsibilities:
Each week the branch manager must audit all files with regards to:
· Underwriting, regulatory compliance
· Premium Negotiation
Ensure each office within Region meets Company Standards regarding:
· State regulations, company policy and procedures
· Appearance/Staff and Facilities
· Audits/Inventory/Applicable Rates/Deposits/Company Compliance
Provide twenty-four (24) hour support to agents:
· Bond approvals
· Underwriting
· Policy and Procedure
Underwriting:
· Review new files within twenty-four (24) hours
· Weekly review of all new forfeitures
Work with CSI and Claims department:
· Forward files as requested
· Provide updates as necessary
Have daily knowledge of office production:
· Bond count, liability, premium deposited
· Set goals for the office weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
· Monitor progress and make changes as needed to ensure goals are met
Lead Tracking:
· Ensure all leads are documented properly with the BMA system
· Review all leads daily – No blank fields acceptable
· Work with agents to maximize potential of all leads
· Maintain a daily/weekly reconciliation of all leads
Employee Management:
· Participate in recruitment of new branch employees – Strictly follow the HR policy regarding hiring
· Work with RM and HR to address, resolve, and document employee issues and/or conflicts
Schedule all shift coverage:
· Ensure schedule is fair, equitable, and maximizes the strengths of each agent to have the most efficient coverage possible
Coordinate and facilitate weekly staff meetings to inform them of changes, company updates, staffing plans, and other various issues that can and will arise.
Promote and create a team environment:
· Work with RM, VP, or Corp for incentives and rewards
Review and audit all activities as it relates to office administration and take appropriate action to ensure future audit compliance and success. The following (but not limited to) areas must be monitored and reviewed daily:
· Oversee daily deposits – Daily Audit Required
· Maintain bond inventory control – Reconcile every week (No exceptions)
· Maintain petty cash control
· Ensure court calls are made – Review and initial court calls weekly
· Monthly review and submission of commission/exception reports
· Accommodate corporate requests as needed
· Maintain updated policy and procedural manuals at the branch office
· Maintain the branch vehicle (regular car wash and maintenance repairs)
· Monitor all bonds written for chronic negligence, fraud, compliance and data integrity
· Review all EZ Labor entries daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly to ensure strict compliance of company policy and procedure
Have daily awareness of office surroundings and ensure the following are within company compliance at all times:
· Cleanliness
· Office supplies and bail forms
· Maintenance and improvements – Provide bids as required to obtain maintenance or improvement approval as needed
Monthly audit reports must be completed and submitted within 10 business days of the last day of month. (No Exceptions)

Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 year’s administrative experience managing a retail sales team
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills: excellent telephone manner, scheduling meetings, organizing branch training, making travel arrangements, completing expense reports, audits, special projects, sales training for new agents and retail employees
· Ability to effectively interface with high level company executives and clients
· Working knowledge of basic HR policy and procedures with regards to employees and labor regulations
· Ability to handle multiple priorities
· Ability to work with others as a team
· Advanced computer and technical proficiency including, but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel: PowerPoint and Adobe
· Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible
· Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly
· Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills that ensure successful interaction with all levels of the organization including senior-level executives and their assistants
· Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision
· Flexibility to work overtime and non standard hours as needed to attend to urgent matters
· Ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion and good judgment when managing sensitive issues
· Ability to achieve and exceed production requirements set by senior management
Salary : $74,400
