The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Configuration Management Engineer to support our government customer located in Washington, DC. This position is 100% on site.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Possess and / or perform the following key duties, including but not limited to :
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Experienced with build processes and an ability to lead to facilitate a Change Advisory Board (CAB) or CCB and provide clear guidance and detailed planning.
- Other duties include but not limited to :
- Control, maintain and store software work products, including COTS ensuring complete traceability of changes through a documented change management process
- Development or testing experience in a UNIX, Windows or VMWWARE environment
- Knowledge and experience with TI governance and control frameworks (NIST, COBIT, COSO, ITIL)
- Creating and improving CM processes
- Facilitating configuration CCB
- Providing CM assessments and inputs to engineering change requests
- Interfacing with all engineering disciplines and program management.
- Other duties as assigned.
