The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Configuration Management Engineer to support our government customer located in Washington, DC . This position is 100% on site.DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES : Possess and / or perform the following key duties, including but not limited to : Demonstrate strong interpersonal skillsExperienced with build processes and an ability to lead to facilitate a Change Advisory Board (CAB) or CCB and provide clear guidance and detailed planning.Other duties include but not limited to : Control, maintain and store software work products, including COTS – ensuring complete traceability of changes through a documented change management processDevelopment or testing experience in a UNIX, Windows or VMWWARE environmentKnowledge and experience with TI governance and control frameworks (NIST, COBIT, COSO, ITIL)Creating and improving CM processesFacilitating configuration CCBProviding CM assessments and inputs to engineering change requestsInterfacing with all engineering disciplines and program management.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED DEGREE / EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION : Bachelor of Science with a concentration in computer related technology, business administration or four to seven (4-7) years of experience in the field of configuration management.Current ITIL v4, security REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE : Ensure delivery of reliable products to customers by maintaining consistent processes governing the coordination, tracking, planning, scheduling, and building of all software components.PMP or Project (highly desired)Needs to have experience with SharePoint, Excel and MS Project as they are the tools used most frequently in this position.Good communication and experience working with the Change Management Board as they are the main point of contact for this group.REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE : U.
