The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Project Coordinator to provide subject matter expertise to the development and creation of new policy and procedures in the support of a government customer located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Kapili Services is seeking a project coordinator to support and advance vision-related education, training, and readiness projects on behalf of the Vision Center of Excellence at the Defense Health Agency. The coordinator will work with an established team of a program manager, subject matter experts, research and education specialists, technical writers, video and graphic designers and government liaisons to ensure project deliverables are met in a timely manner.

Bachelor's Degree in business management or a related field.

- Planning and coordinating schedules by developing a detailed project plan that includes resources, timelines, milestones, and work breakdown structures
- Tracking and monitoring progress of projects by regularly communicating with stakeholders on the statuses of their work and identifying deviations/risks, and planning for workaround if necessary
- Communicating/collaborating with stakeholders on a regular basis to provide updates and address issues
- Scheduling and facilitating meetings
- Assisting team members with drafting agenda, creating surveys, and setting up meetings
- Drafting meeting summaries to include action items, distribution meeting summaries to stakeholders, and following up on action items
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Providing administrative support to team members and client as requested to ensure success of the program
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree in business management or a related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in MS Project is required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to work in dynamic environments, managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to pass a Tier I background check.
