The Alakaina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has an opening for a Systems Analyst to provide support for the life cycle sustainment of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Battle Stations 21 (BST-21) program out of Orlando, FL.
The successful candidate would be responsible for discovering, synthesizing, and analyzing information from a variety of internal and external sources, including tools, processes, documentation, and stakeholders. The candidate must be comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization as well as inside and outside the organization.
DUTIES INCLUDE :
- Act as a liaison between external organizations / end users and the technology team.
- Lead the development and success of end-to-end data pipelines, from data collection to customer-facing experiences.
- Work cross-functionally to analyze and define end user needs.
- Collaborate with internal partners to interpret complex requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Perform requirements analysis, story decomposition, system integration analysis, and data flow design.
- Build high quality user stories and acceptance criteria, working with the team to refine user stories.
- Provide requirement and design support to the software development team.
- Support development of user interface requirements and design using UI / UX tools.
- Support and develop test plans and test cases.
- Participate in testing and conducting user acceptance testing.
- Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices
- Ensuring CDRLs and documents are developed in accordance with program specifications.
- Collecting and accumulating appropriate technical information and data through researching and analyzing technical data and publications, engineering drawings, test procedures, design specifications / documentation, software description documents, engineering documents, and logistics documents.
- Working in a team environment, taking direction with minimal follow-up to complete a task / project.
- Travel may be required between 25% - 50%.
