Criminal Justice Instructor for area High Schools.
Example of Duties
This position would require you to visit the high school campus to teach Criminal Justice I (substance abuse, court procedures and evidence and criminology) for one semester. The second semester, Criminal Justice II (ethics, criminal law and juvenile justice) are offered.
The instructor would be responsible for developing and using various teaching techniques to deliver the course material (ie. lesson plans, chapter test, power points, selecting videos / documentaries to support subject material, scheduling guest speakers...)
Typical Qualifications
Master's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
Preferred three to five years of experience in the criminal justice or related profession
