Position Opportunity
The Recruiter focus on technical and salary recruiting activities including job postings, candidate screening and interviewing, background/ drug screening, job offers, new hire paperwork, and ensuring that they have a positive 90-day introductory period.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- All responsibilities of Recruiter I
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other HR Staff during the offer process, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Collaborate with Recruiting Manager on recruiting improvement processes and best practices
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Other Human Resources Responsibilities
- Maintain tracking and dashboard for reporting on regular basis
- Manage sensitive information with utmost discretion
- Compete all required Company Training
- Comply with all safety and human resources policies, practices and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications: High school degree required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational psychology, or education preferred. HR Certification preferred.
Related Experience: 2-3 years of experience in technical recruiting in the food manufacturing industry preferred.
Knowledge/Skills Experience:
- Knowledge of human resources best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other human resources technologies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with candidates, internal and external partners.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing or related industries a plus.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
Travel Requirements: Travel within company locations, less than 5% travel for job fairs, company engagement events.
