What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Pole Inspector position at Alamon Inc.?
Job Description:
This position is responsible for inspecting utility poles in both rural and urban environments. The ideal candidate will have technical ability to troubleshoot the Bluetooth connection between the IML Resi drill and the data collection device.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the IML Resi drill for utility pole inspection
- Maintain the IML Resi drill by performing weekly cleanings
- Collect field data accurately and perform daily and weekly reporting
- Identify wood decay and have knowledge of decay patterns on different wood pole species
- Follow all company and government safety regulations
Requirements:
- Possess a current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Previous pole inspection or crew member experience
- Ability to work outdoors, in a physically demanding work environment and all-weather conditions
