AUTO BODY REPAIR PAINTER - Alan Jay Automotive Network

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive restoration and repair, with a strong background in various auto body techniques. This role involves working on a range of vehicles, ensuring they are restored to their original condition while maintaining high-quality standards. We are offering weekly pay & a 5 day work week for Experienced Qualified Painters! Pay based on experience!

DUTIES

• Perform auto body repairs, including frame straightening, dent removal, metal pulling, roof repair, stud welding, rocker panels and multiple panels repair.
• Utilize power tools and equipment for cutting, welding, and shaping metal components.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all repairs meet safety standards.
• Apply auto painting techniques using airless paint spraying methods to achieve a flawless finish.
• Install auto glass and ensure proper sealing to prevent leaks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop repair plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste).

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified candidates must have 3 years of auto body experience.
• Proven experience in auto body repair and restoration techniques.
• Proficiency in welding.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged unibody & full frame vehicles and the ability to operate all auto repair tools.
• Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is a plus.
• Experience in auto painting, including surface preparation and application techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• ASE and/or ICAR certifications in collision repair preferred.
• Valid driver's license, able to pass drug screening & background check.
