Job Title : Residential Alarm System Technician

Location : Tampa, Florida

Job Type : Full-Time (Contractor)

Pay : Guaranteed Base Pay of $600 / week Additional $150 for every job after 4th installation (average job amount is 7-10 per week)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Residential Alarm System Technician to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role involves installing and maintaining residential alarm systems, providing excellent service, and ensuring customers fully understand how to use their systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, communicate effectively with customers, manage inventory, and be an efficient team player. This position offers a guaranteed base pay of $600 per week, with the opportunity to earn additional income by completing more than 4 jobs in a week.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Install and Maintain Alarm Systems : Install residential alarm systems, ensuring each system is fully operational and customized for the customer.
  • Customer Communication & Training : Clearly explain how alarm systems work and provide straightforward instructions to homeowners.
  • Inventory Management : Maintain accurate counts of all equipment, and perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration : Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and achieve team goals.
  • Problem-Solving & Positive Attitude : Tackle challenges proactively with a solution-oriented approach and a “yes” attitude.
  • Professionalism & Cleanliness : Maintain a professional appearance and clean work environment at all times.
  • On-Call Availability : Be available on standby Monday through Friday for job assignments and emergencies.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in alarm system installations or similar technical roles is beneficial but not required.
  • Background in construction, general contracting, or other related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems in simple terms.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • A reliable, hardworking team player who approaches every task with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage and track equipment inventory effectively.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    • Compensation :

  • Guaranteed Base Pay : $600 per week.
  • Additional Earnings : For every week in which more than 4 jobs are completed, contractors will earn an additional $150 per job for every job beyond the fourth. For example, if you complete 6 jobs in a week, you would receive $600 (base pay) $300 (2 additional jobs) = $900 for that week.

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Must be available for standby Monday through Friday.
  • Physically capable of performing installations and handling necessary equipment.
