Responsibilities
- Will report to and take direction from AARS Executive Director
- Analyze budgets and other financial information
- Create and implement a financial strategy that aligns with the organizations goals, objectives, and collateral requirements
- Manage annual budgeting, long-term financial planning, and forecasting to ensure financial stability
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, and areas for improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Requirement: 7-10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role
- Have proven experience developing and implementing financial strategies in a dynamic and growing organization
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
