TITLE: Diaper Pantry Coordinator
SUPERVISED BY: Co-Executive Director
STATUS: Full-time/Hourly/Non-Exempt

PAY RANGE: $26.26-$31.35
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF JOB: The Diaper Pantry Coordinator demonstrates the mission and values of the organization by managing all functions and volunteer personnel to provide the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous, personable and professional manner to ensure a positive experience for our clients, volunteers and community partners. This position is accountable to the Co-Executive Director.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds, including ability to manage conflicts.
- Strong problem solving, organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, make sound decisions and protect the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills with small and large groups, work independently and in a team environment which fosters effective teamwork in meeting the mission of the Community Diaper Pantry.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting duties which include the equivalency of lifting up to 50lbs., repeated bending and stooping, climbing stairs, prolonged walking and standing, and frequent pushing and pulling movements.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid AK driver's license and at least three years of driving experience.
- Must be 24 years or older due to insurance requirements and have a clean driving record.
- Must comply with drug test upon hire.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Preferred education including a bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field OR three years of experience in a social services/helping field.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee Diaper Pantry.
2. Maintain and input data of clients into the data system.
3. Assess inventory need, purchase, and stock diapers.
4. Manage In-Kind Donation Excel Spreadsheet.
5. Provide donors with Thank You cards and tax receipts for donations.
6. Help recruit and manage volunteers.
7. Timely response to email inquiries.
8. Coordinate Diaper Drives in the community.
9. Drive the Community Diaper Pantry van and maintain cleanliness of vehicle, noting any maintenance required to direct supervisor.
10. Set up, run, and take down diaper pantry days.
11. Support and thank hosts/coordinators/diaper pantry sites.
12. Promote Diaper Pantry days on website and Facebook with Director and the social media manager.
13. Act as the primary point of contact for the annual Diaper Dash Event. Co-chair committee with the Executive/Deputy Directors.
14. Identify and contact Diaper Dash sponsors (with committee’s help)
15. Diaper Need Awareness Week promotion and organization
16. Complete Annual National Diaper Bank Network Survey with Co-Executive Director
17. Participate in training opportunities provided by NDBN.
18. Maintain a well-organized warehouse space.
20. Other duties as assigned.
