Role Summary
The Managing Director Inflight Products and Experience is accountable for the strategy and execution of the inflight guest experience onboard for two beloved brands - Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines. This includes setting and executing the long-term vision and strategy for all aspects of inflight food and beverage, catering operations, inflight service flow / delivery, and uniforms. This leader will also be held accountable for driving innovative cost efficiencies while maximizing the guest experience with a $400 million budget.
Key Duties
- Sets and executes the long-term strategy for inflight products and experience across the Alaska and Hawaiian brands.
- Manages the inflight food and beverage program including product planning, product performance, P&L management, forecast / inventory management, catering operations, and quality assurance.
- Develops and executes against a roadmap for innovation across all aspects of food and beverage with a focus on guest experience improvement and efficiency gains.
- Accountable for the development and execution of a comprehensive in-flight service strategy that drives industry-leading guest experience metrics.
- Responsible for uniform programs including new uniform development and ongoing management of uniform programs and policies.
- Influences across the company and provides strategic recommendations to enterprise leaders to enable a guest-first, quality-obsessed inflight experience.
- Builds and maintains productive relationships with strategic business partners and labor leaders.
- Develops people through effective performance management and ongoing feedback, focusing on talent development and succession planning.
- Influences company culture through action and reinforcement of behaviors.

The pay range and total target compensation package listed above is the expected pay offered for this position at the start of employment. Your pay will be based on multiple factors, including location, relevant experience, and skillset.
