About The Team
The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Alaska Behavioral Health provides confidential, high-quality behavioral healthcare services and local resource connection to post 9/11 veterans (including National Guard and Reserves), their families, active-duty service members and the families of active-duty service members, which includes spouse or partner, children, parents, siblings, caregivers, and others.
The Clinician will work as a part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. They will receive state-of-the-art training, clinical supervision, and support to provide the most effective, scientifically supported, evidence-based treatments available for to children, youth, adults, and families. We engage clinicians in continuous professional development to improve their clinical practice, learn new treatments, and achieve excellent patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do
- Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy to patients, with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatments
- Perform and document patient’s screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress, and referral information
- Conduct clinical intake assessments on veterans and family members as needed
- Collaborate and coordinate with the caregiver, physician, director, case management and all other disciplines to provide the best care to patients as needed
- Position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska
- Full-Time, Exempt
- Pay Range is between $72,310 and $93,579 a year depending on experience
- Position is eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 10% of your annual salary

- Clinicians participate in regular individual and group supervision and are provided with additional training opportunities as part of our professional development plan.

- You have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited psychology program, or a Master’s degree in social work and licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or a Master’s degree in counseling and licensed to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); or a Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and licensed to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- You have knowledge in DSM-IV/DSM-V diagnoses and experience in PTSD diagnoses and treatment.
- You have experience working with military populations and/or Veterans (not a dealbreaker, but strongly preferred!)
Salary : $72,310 - $93,579
