Salary : $6500-$7500 / Month DOE
Job Summary :
The director of Finance will oversee and manage the financial, contractual, and compliance aspects of companies. Company operations include but are not limited to Guiding, Property management, Automotive services, and Water Transportation. This role requires strategic financial oversight, budget management, and ensuring the companies are fiscally healthy while supporting business growth.
Requirements :
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- At least two years of experience in a high-level accounting position. Experience in tourism preferred.
- Must be proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office products
- Willingness to help in other areas as needed including but not limited to, driving / guiding tours, expedition sales, assisting Skagway office.
- Willingness to travel between Haines and Skagway multiple times per week in the summer season.
- Be located / relocate to Haines Alaska.
