Summary:
The Senior Manager, Provider Recruiting leads and drives the strategic direction of provider recruitment and contracting efforts at ANTHC. This position develops and implements large-scale recruitment strategies, manages complex provider contract negotiations, and ensures compliance with all relevant legal, financial, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Manager partners with leadership to align recruitment efforts with workforce planning priorities, ensuring ANTHC attracts top talent for healthcare provider roles. This role reports to the Senior Director of Talent Management and works collaboratively with stakeholders across Human Resources, Legal, Finance, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute long-term provider recruitment strategies aligned with workforce planning needs. Source, engage, and hire physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical professionals through high-level outreach and partnerships.
Lead provider contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with legal, financial, and regulatory standards. Oversee the contract lifecycle, including renewals, compliance, and reporting requirements.
Advise executive leadership and hiring managers on workforce planning, talent acquisition strategies, and staffing forecasts. Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure recruitment efforts align with organizational policies.
Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing team of recruiting professionals to meet business and workforce needs. Set strategic goals, provide professional development opportunities, foster team growth, and drive results through coaching and mentoring.
Optimize provider hiring processes, ensuring efficiency and positive candidate experiences. Oversee contract management and ensure seamless coordination of credentialing, relocation support, and retention initiatives.
Utilize data analytics and applicant tracking systems to drive recruitment decisions and measure the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns.

Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Tribal law, regulations, rules, policies, and processes relevant to human resources and recruitment.
Knowledge of customer service concepts and practices.
Understanding of compensation variables and factors.
Understanding of key performance indicators (KPI) relative to contract and vendor management.
Knowledge of appropriate utilization of KPIs relative to differing contract types.
Proven account management and experience focused partnership ensuring a positive experience for leaders, partners, staff, and candidates.
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Non-supervisory – 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in recruitment, HR, clinical management, project or program management, contract management, or legal roles.
Supervisory – 5+ years of management experience in talent acquisition or recruitment leadership.
MINIMUM CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS
PHR or SHRM-CP certification (or must be obtained within 1.5 years of hire).
Active membership or certification with MGMA and/or ACHE (or must be obtained within one year of hire).
