Position Summary
This position performs under the direction of the Revenue Cycle and Finance Services Manager. The Health Center Operations and Quality Support Specialist is responsible for assisting with external grants, assisting with the Credentialing program, and providing additional administrative support to departmental grants, projects, and OPS team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- Work as a member of the APCA Health Center Operations and Quality (OPS)
CRCCP Support
- Attend and participate in project team meetings
- Attend and participate in quarterly meetings – record attendance and take notes
- Schedule upcoming meetings
- Send out agenda and reminders for upcoming meetings
- Communicate with partner CHCs about CRCCP on an ad hoc basis
- Assist Patient Navigator Instructor as needed
Credentialing Support
- Attend project team meetings
- Learn Credentialing process
- Obtain National Practitioner Data Base (NPDB) access and other project tools as needed
- Help keep Asana projects up to date
- Provide backup to APCA Credentialing Lead as needed
Peer Network Support
- Attend Peer Network meetings as requested
- Take attendance and take notes as needed
- Monitor chat during meeting
- Launch satisfaction poll at end of meeting
- File attendance and poll results into appropriate document repository
Health Center Operations and Quality Department Support
- Monitor the TeamTTA email account
- Keep TeamTTA calendar and group list updated
- Insert polls into all applicable OPS webinars and ensure they are launched
- Create flyers for OPS events
- Newsletter announcement submissions
- Track and assign internal/external requests in Asana
- Assist departmental teams with grant reporting requirements
- Provide CHCs with a high level of customer service and support
- Support department-wide communications efforts
- Organize department webinar recordings and make them available to APCA and CHC staff
- Support APCA events as needed
- Assist with travel arrangements and conference registrations as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Knowledge
Required
- High school diploma/GED required. 1 to 2 years' experience in an office environment preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skill, and experience in working with diverse populations.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills supported by documented work or volunteer experience and professional references.
- Demonstrated proficiency in use of a computer for word processing, spreadsheets, communication via email, and conducting research via the Internet. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows required. Must be willing to learn and use Office 365.
- Experience in health, social service, operations, process improvement, or public administration fields desired. Community Health Center experience preferred.

- Works under the direct supervision of Revenue Cycle and Finance Services Manager. Performance is assessed through review of work, integration, and cooperation within the Department and APCA, communication with all stakeholders, quality and timeliness of deliverables and associated criteria.
Language Skills
Required
- Fluency in written and spoken English required.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
Travel Required
In-city travel for meetings, tasks, and errands as needed. In-state travel may occur. Mileage is reimbursed per APCA policy.
Hours per Week
This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week. Generally, the hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Work Environment
