Alaya Dance seeks a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our studio's operations. The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks, ensure smooth communication between staff and clients, and contribute to a welcoming environment for our dance community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greet clients, and respond to inquiries.
- Scheduling: Coordinate class schedules, and studio events.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, and manage registrations.
- Communication: Serve as the liaison between instructors, students, and parents; disseminate information as needed.
- Financial Tasks: Assist with billing, process payments
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of recitals, and other studio events.
- Office Maintenance: Ensure the studio's reception area is organized and supplies are stocked.
Schedule:
- The candidate would start coming to the studio twice a week for about two hours, but the number of days can increase depending on the way you perform and how many more tasks you are able to take over.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in a dance or arts-related setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A friendly demeanor and passion for the arts
