Job Title: Quality Inspector
Basic Function:
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and quality? We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting specified checks and tests on finished products to ensure they meet both customer quality expectations and our production goals.
Responsibilities:
- Verify the quality of finished and unfinished tubes through visual inspection, measurements, and testing.
- Document results of inspections, measurements, and tests.
- Report non-conformance issues to the Shift Supervisor and/or line mechanic and document them appropriately.
- Check products against Photostat and color samples for correct copy and decoration.
- Make holdouts of defective materials for rework and complete required inspection reports, recording data in QIS as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform rework and miscellaneous duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous production/manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Proficiency in using rulers, gauges, and various test instruments.
- Strong math skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
