Job Description
Quality Control Inspectors will be responsible for monitoring all products as they are produced to ensure accuracy and prevent any defects from reaching customers. The successful candidate will also be expected to ensure that all required documentation is filed and kept up-to-date, and complete special projects as needed.
SKILLS MUST INCLUDE:
✅ Knowledge of quality control standards (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, GMP)
✅ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings
✅ Proficiency with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs)
✅ Experience with destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT)
✅ Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, injection molding)
✅ Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving techniques
✅ Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Quality Control Inspectors will be responsible for monitoring all products as they are produced to ensure accuracy and prevent any defects from reaching customers. The successful candidate will also be expected to ensure that all required documentation is filed and kept up-to-date, and complete special projects as needed.
- Uses engineering drawings to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Prepares and documents non-conformance reports.
- Utilizes required inspection records.
- Prepares and maintains required inspections records.
- Performs in process and receiving inspection.
- Reports variations in material inspected and equipment calibration promptly to supervisor.
- Adheres to safety practices and procedures.
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follows procedures as defined by CAD policies, procedures, and AS9100D requirements. Maintains confidentiality of all information processed.
- Adheres to the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) policies and procedures related to NIST 800-171 and completes all required CUI Awareness training, which includes collection, processing/handling, transmission, storage, and general safeguarding practices.
