Scope
Responsible for Entry level operation of injection mold machines used in the production of plastic tube shoulders, and/or caps while maintaining Company safety and quality standards.

Main activities

• Assist in loading material, and operate molding machine per production specifications
• Monitor process and perform quality checks
• Assist with adjustments to machine or material as needed to correct defects in product quality
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Ensure to follow safe operating standards
• Prepare finished material for transfer to inventory
• Other duties as assigned

Accountability including KPIs

• Make sure the machine and molds run well to deliver the daily output.
• Make sure of the quality of the products is in line with requirement.
• Scrap and REE KPIs met on a daily basis.
• Carrying our timely changeovers when the plan requires

Profile (Experience & qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous production experience desired
• Some knowledge of injection molding
• Basic math skills and knowledge of data collection methods
• Good communications skills, verbal and written
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude (through work experience in engine repair, machine shop, industrial or military machine maintenance or in applicable vocational training)
• Ability to work overtime or non-regular weekly schedule as assigned
• Manual dexterity, ability to maintain brisk pace of production
• Ability to diagnose production problems and implement solutions
• Willingness to adhere to Company safety rules and requirements
• Ability to work well within a team environment
