Scope
Lead a Printing team in support of production lines to maximize uptime, ensure line efficiency, and provide expert level support to the team. Fill in for Supervisor when needed; while maintaining Company safety, and quality standards.
Main activities
Load material, perform setups, operate and adjust digital and/or Gallus printing presses to produce good quality roll stock per specifications. Support performance of timely and accurate changeovers. Evaluate process and perform quality checks. Perform routine preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance as necessary. Adjust machine or material as needed to correct defects in product quality. Make printing plates and mix inks if needed. Run color standards as needed. Prepare and move finished material to staging area. Monitor operation of production equipment to ensure efficiency. Capture and record required data, tracking performance of equipment to production schedule. Ensure clean and orderly work area. Maintain safe operating standards. Fill in for Supervisor as needed in the daily overseeing of production. Ability to work well within a team environment. adhere to Company safety rules and requirements.

Profile (Experience & qualifications)
High school diploma or GED. Previous production experience desired. Basic math skills and knowledge of data collection methods. Good communications skills, verbal and written. Some computer and SAP experience. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through work experience in printing setting. Powered industrial truck certification. Manual dexterity, ability to maintain brisk pace of production. Ability to diagnose production problems and implement solutions. All Candidates must meet level 4 operator criteria.

- Scrap and REE KPIs met on a daily basis.
