Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree from a professional academic nursing program.
- A current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- A minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
