About the Role
The Nurse Practitioner is a key member of our Ob/Gyn Generalist Division, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations, gathering vital signs, collecting specimens, and ordering medical laboratory tests as needed.
- Diagnose medical conditions, administer medications or treatments, and perform minor surgery under the supervision of an attending physician.
- Maintain accurate patient records, complete coding for effective billing, and manage inventory of medical supplies and instruments.
- Serve as a resource and team leader during clinical shifts, ensuring efficient patient processing, treatment, and discharge.
Requirements
- Masters Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Able to quickly master computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be HIPAA compliant at all times.
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and completion of ATLS and BCLS training upon hire.
Working Conditions
This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and stooping. Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl occasionally required.
