Job Description
Albemarle is hiring for a Process Safety Advisor. This position is located in Magnolia, Arkansas and supports both our West and South Plant operations.
What You Will Do
- Perform Process Hazards Analyses for all PSM-covered processes
- Drive operational improvements in safety, including LOPA, critical instrumentation, interlock verification, and MOC training and review
- Follow up on closure of findings from PHA's, incidents, etc.
- Support capital projects with their PHA and LOPA needs, as well as participate in PSSRs for new projects and improvements
- Participate in incident investigations and reviews, including validating release and impact amounts and Root Cause Analysis of significant incidents
- Provide training for new engineers in both systems and methodology of technical safety systems
