We're currently looking for a Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to take a leading role in these efforts and maintain a strong focus on community engagement.

Position Overview:

  • Community Engagement
    • Manage community outreach efforts on Alberici’s behalf
    • Represents Alberici on diverse/small-business oriented committees; attends events
    • Maintains relationships with leaders in the local construction and minority advocacy community (MOKAN, AGC, SLDC, SLC3, ASA, etc.)
    • Participates on committees and Boards within the community
  • Subcontractor Engagement
    • Oversees Alberici University, Alberici’s capacity building program for diverse subcontracting partners
    • Oversees Alberici’s A3P Program
    • Works with the Community Development Manager to ensure relationships with and a database of diverse subcontractors and suppliers is being maintained
    • Preconstruction and Construction
  • Pursuits, Preconstruction and Construction
    • Assists in development of narratives and case studies for project pursuits.
    • Assists in development of pursuit- and project-specific diversity and inclusion strategies
    • Participates in presentations and proposals as needed
  • Corporate Role
    • Oversees Alberici’s Affirmative Action Plan
    • Co-chairs the Diversity & Inclusion Committee
    • Participates on the Recruitment Committee
    • Strategizes ways and implements plans to create a diverse and inclusive company culture
    • Helps develop communications content and messaging strategies that support our diversity and inclusion efforts
    • Works closely with the Marketing Department to promote Alberici’s diversity & inclusion efforts both internally and externally
    • Tracks, maintains and reports diversity and inclusion metrics corporate-wide
    • Manages the diversity budget and coordinates payment of diversity-related expenses
    • Leads recruitment efforts at historically under-represented universities and colleges
    • Communicates with and presents to historically under-represented groups at universities and colleges in which Alberici recruits
    • Participates in college recruiting for both interns and graduate new hires
    • Participates in high school intern recruiting process and serves as point of contact for interns once hired
    • Oversees workforce outreach in alignment with AAP/EEO goals and corporate objectives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree plus five years related experience in community outreach, implementing corporate diversity and inclusion programs and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree preferred. Extensive experience required with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
