Job Summary: The Lead Floor/Carpenter Technician will oversee all floor restoration projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role involves hands-on restoration work, team leadership, and client coordination. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in floor restoration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and manage floor restoration projects from start to finish.
Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Technical Expertise:
Perform floor restoration tasks such as sanding, polishing, sealing, and refinishing.
Repair damaged floors, including hardwood, tile, concrete, and other materials.
Operate and maintain floor restoration equipment and tools.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor a team of floor restoration technicians.
Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Client Relations:
Conduct site assessments and consultations with clients to determine their restoration needs.
Communicate project progress, timelines, and any issues to clients.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing any concerns promptly.
Quality Control:
