Job Overview
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Duties
- Payroll Processing:
Prepare and process biweekly payroll for employees.
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
Preparation of wire requests and payroll journal entries
- Compliance and Reporting:
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports (e.g., W-2, 1099, and quarterly tax filings).
- Employee Support:
Address and resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
Assist employees with timesheet submissions and benefit deductions, verification of Employment
Account receivables
- Records Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records, including changes in pay rates, job titles, or benefits.
Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- System Administration:
Use ADP software to input and validate payroll data.
Identify and implement process improvements in payroll systems and workflows.
- Collaboration:
Work with HR and finance teams to ensure alignment in employee records, benefits, and deductions.
Provide payroll data for budgeting, audits, and financial reporting.
Experience
- Proven experience in payroll administration or coordination.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
