Are you someone who thrives in a team-focused environment, has a hunger for growth and learning, and embraces a variety of challenges? We’re seeking the perfect person to fill a vital role in our law firm, where your positive attitude and flexibility will make all the difference.
Your Key Areas of Focus:
- Receptionist Role: Be the friendly face and voice of our law firm! You'll greet visitors warmly, handle incoming calls with a professional and outgoing demeanor, and manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and correspondence. Your administrative skills will shine as you assist with general office duties—no legal experience required.
- Client Intake Support: You will assist our Intake Director to ensure potential new clients are entered into our case management system accurately. You'll play a key role in onboarding new cases with drafting releases and then also assisting with sending correspondence like emails or letters related to declined cases.
- Building Management and Operations: Become the go-to person by overseeing day-to-day building operations. You'll work with vendors, contractors, and current/future tenants, ensuring the building is clean, organized, and well-maintained. This will include some physical tasks like lifting (30-50 lbs.), shoveling snow from the front steps, handling garbage disposal around the property as needed, and walking up and down stairs.
What We're Looking For:
- Outgoing, friendly personality with a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people—especially those in challenging situations.
- Team player mentality: Your focus is on contributing to the success of the entire firm.
- Flexibility to juggle physical tasks with office-based duties.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done.
Physical Requirements: This position involves physical work at times, including lifting up to 50 lbs., shoveling snow, cleaning premises, and navigating stairs.
NOTE: The position will start on a part-time basis to allow for thorough training before transitioning to full-time. The duration of this part-time period depends entirely on your learning pace and how quickly you become proficient!
Why You'll Love It Here: If you enjoy meeting new people, solving problems, and being a key contributor in a supportive environment, this role is designed for you. Together, we’ll build a strong foundation for growth—both for yourself and for our firm.
