With general supervision serves as contact for customers, tracks jobs, resolves problems, and fulfills all steps necessary to produce both confldentlal / secure instructional and administrative support material for the District, providing quality products, and meeting deadlines. Provides production and project information to all staff and supervisors, and monitors all department projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Incumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Operates all production equipment to produce various types of materials which may include scanning, cropping, and / or maneuvering of images to project specifications.
- Maintains all records necessary to the production department, including filling out job orders and delivery tickets.
- Provides all reports necessary to the department, including sales and margin reports, including the teachers' store.
- Operates all production, finishing and bindery equipment to produce various types of materials which may be necessary to meet deadlines.
- Oversees the production of multiple projects on varied equipment and phases of production.
- Calculates requirements to develop and manage projects, including customer contact, job tracking and quality control.
- Monitors and maintains all supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies.
- Places and expedites raw materials orders for the department, verifying receipt of supplies.
- Complies with OSHA regulations in the handling of chemical materials for all equipment.
- Provides maintenance / cleaning to all production equipment.
- Processes and delivers incoming and outgoing projects for the District.
- Produces price quotes on projects.
- Assists in maintaining a complete set of records of all production and financial transactions of the department.
- Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
- Oversees project tracking by other team members, to keep jobs within deadline and budget.
- Schedules projects to best expedite positive work results.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
