Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist and dedicated administrative professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk of our Student Massage Clinic, where you will handle various administrative tasks and assist students and clients with their needs.
Duties
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage client check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Schedule appointments using our easy to use scheduling system- Mangomint
- Handle phone inquiries, directing calls to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Process medical collections and manage billing inquiries.
- Assist with clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Experience
- Must hold an ACTIVE Massage license in the State of New Mexico
- Must be available Wednesdays 10:30a-1:30p and Fridays 9:30a-12:30p through May 2025
- Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role within a clinic or medical office is preferred.
- Must be able to answer student therapists' questions related to Pathology and Ethics and guide them when they need assistance.
- Will assist students in writing SOAP Notes
- Ability to type and navigate online software efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
