Purpose of the Position
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and organized Assistant Director to join our childcare team! As the Assistant Director, you will work closely with the Center Director to ensure that our center provides a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. You’ll support the team, help oversee daily operations, and communicate effectively with families to ensure an exceptional experience.

Scope
Planning, overseeing, coordinating, and leading the daily academic and non-academic activities of the childcare while complying with all relevant PA state regulations and Active Learning Center policies and procedures. Managing all aspects of the teaching staff and develops additional learning opportunities to expand the current program and enhance enrollment. The assistant director is expected to learn all aspects of being the director and will fulfill the role of the director in the director’s absence.
All applicants must have a degree in Education, at least 18 years of age, and a clear background check.
