Job Description
This role performs duties throughout the Grain & Agronomy facility. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining grain elevator equipment, ensuring incoming grain delivery, loading and unloading bulk and packaged fertilizer, and measuring agronomy inventory.
- Operate and maintain grain elevator equipment, including conveyors, scales, and grain dryers.
- Ensure incoming grain from semis or trains are delivered efficiently and correctly.
- Load and unload trucks and railcars using heavy equipment such as loaders and forklifts.
The successful candidate will also assist members with loading and unloading corn/beans/wheat, keep accurate records of grain inventory and transactions, and store bushels properly, safely, and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED, previous grain production experience, and agriculture background. You must also have a clean driving record, basic computer and technology skills, good written and verbal communication, and the ability to identify objectives and recommend the best solutions.

Other Details
This role requires climbing 30-foot bins, rail cars, and 100-foot grain legs. The successful candidate must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, work in grain dust, and work in outdoor conditions. A safety-first mindset is essential for success in this role.
