Job Summary:
Support the quality systems of the company for compliance with ISO certification.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the ISO9001 certification
· Maintain the quality manual
· Support quality system throughout manufacturing process
· Oversee internal audits
· Coordinate internal and external corrective actions for non-conformance
· Provide communication with customer quality departments
· Maintain PPAP documentation
· Direct personnel in quality department
· Coordinate and track employee training
· Cost of Quality reporting
· Effectively communicate and address quality issues with operators and supervisors.
· Support all quality policies and initiatives.
· Coordinate and control continuous improvement projects to support the quality system
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
· 3-5 years’ experience in quality control
· Fairly extensive knowledge of ISO certification process
· Ability to read, write and comprehend English
· Experience with measuring tools, e.g. calipers, gauges, protractors a plus.
· Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills in order to resolve issue promptly
· Ability to work well and communicate effectively with others.
Job Type: Full-time
