Co-Op, Breakthrough Technology (2025)

Alcoa is seeking a Co-Op for the year 2025, to participate in our program that involves material and process development for the Alcoa Technical Center, located in New Kensington, PA! The main activities will include but not be limited to ceramic powder synthesis, powder processing, materials characterization, materials processing development, working with high temperature furnaces, data processing, material purification and materials performance testing. We are looking to fill multiple roles for the Spring / Summer Semester 2025 or Summer / Fall Semester 2025.

Be part of it and shape your world. During this co-op, the selected candidates will :

• Work closely with engineers on a variety of projects crafted to contribute technologically to the assigned group.
• Support process data analysis using a variety of software.
• Optimize existing, new, or future equipment and processes.
• Research current technology, design and execute experiments, and collect, analyze and present data.
• Be accountable for the defined project as assigned by the supervisor.
