As a Manager, Manufacturing / Equipment Engineering supporting Engineering Manufacturing, you will be trusted to work on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient / economical mass production of goods at Johns Creek, GA, USA .
In this role, a typical day will include :
- Manage a small team of Equipment Engineers
- Learn and specialize in manufacturing equipment
- Specify requirements and procedures for new and existing equipment
- Purchase and own the installation and qualification of new equipment and retrofits
- Adapt manufacturing equipment in response to factory conditions
- Conduct tests through all stages of production to improve control over applicable variables and troubleshoot / solve production problems
- Develop and perform change control and qualification activities
- Provide guidance to Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Training on technical details that will best use equipment and manufacturing techniques
- Ensure that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
