We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Sr. Operator III supporting Packaging, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging machinery/equipment at Sinking Spring, PA.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
- Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
- Operate equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes.
- Complete the batch records and associated documentation
- Work in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards. Tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Work hours: 2nd shift - 2:00 PM-10:00 PM - Monday - Friday

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Prior Machine Operating experience
- Able to lift up to 20lbs.
- Able to collaborate in a team environment
- Able to work Overtime on Weekends
