In this role, a typical day will include:
- Manage and issue materials through Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support maintenance and production operations.
- Assist Production Teams in locating and retrieving spare parts as needed.
- Inspect, classify, and stock incoming parts, ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained in the stockroom.
- Independently issue, receive, and transfer materials, preparing shipping and packing documentation for repairable items
- Generate inventory and usage reports as required.
- Communicate with requestors regarding the availability and pickup of non-stock shipments.
- Perform daily inventory checks to ensure accuracy and availability of essential parts.
- Maintain 5S standards in the Spare Parts area and Penthouse Requirements.
- Adhere to and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to inventory management and spare parts handling.
- Oversee care, storage, and inventory control to ensure efficient operations.
- Stock and move parts as needed.
