As a Senior Spare Parts Coordinator supporting Process Engineering (Life Sciences), you will be trusted to work on managing spare parts inventory, ensuring accurate processing of shipping documentation for repairable items, and overseeing the daily overdue report to maintain efficient operations at our Manufacturing Facility in Johns Creek Manufacturing, GA!
In this role, a typical day will include:
Manage and issue materials through Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support maintenance and production operations.
Assist Production Teams in locating and retrieving spare parts as needed.
Inspect, classify, and stock incoming parts, ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained in the stockroom.
Independently issue, receive, and transfer materials, preparing shipping and packing documentation for repairable items
Generate inventory and usage reports as required.
Communicate with requestors regarding the availability and pickup of non-stock shipments.
Perform daily inventory checks to ensure accuracy and availability of essential parts.
Maintain 5S standards in the Spare Parts area and Penthouse Requirements.
Adhere to and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to inventory management and spare parts handling.
Oversee care, storage, and inventory control to ensure efficient operations.
Stock and move parts as needed.
What You’ll Bring to Alcon:
High School Diploma or equivalent
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
