Alcorn State University is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct team and independent research on evaluating native bees as pollinators of small fruits on small farms in Mississippi. The successful candidate will work under the direction of scientists from Alcorn State University Demonstration Farm (Demo Farm) in Mound Bayou, MS and the USDA Agricultural Research Service (USDA ARS) in Stoneville, MS.
This appointment is for 12 months with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funds. The postdoctoral research associate will be based at the Demo Farm, with some laboratory work conducted at the USDA ARS cooperators laboratory.
