POSITION SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for developing, growing, and leading the Direct-to-Consumer Lending Division. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing an effective Direct-to-Consumer program, managing and developing the direct-to-consumer team, and ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve their goals. This position requires analytical and personnel-management skills. In addition, the Inside Sales Manager is expected to demonstrate effective customer service, leadership, as well as strong spoken and written communication abilities.

- Collaborate with company ownership to build and establish a compliant and seamless direct to consumer process
- Lead planning and development of Direct-to-Consumer Loan program
- Responsible for developing, managing, and growing direct to consumer lead sources
- Provide functional and strategic leadership of the Direct-to-Consumer team
- Lead, mentor, and provide ongoing training to a team of Direct-to-Consumer Loan Officers
- Provide answers and guidance for products and services for potential customers and clients
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes in order to adjust department strategies as needed
- Connect with potential customers through email, inbound and outbound calls, and other channels of communication
- Assist customers with their mortgage needs by evaluating applications, analyzing financial information, and providing loan options available
- Utilize metrics to drive process and performance improvement
- Manage the active loan pipeline and provide clients with ongoing customer support

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE, AND COMPETENCIES
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Direct-to-Consumer mortgage sales
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field required
- Experience in Loan Origination required
- Knowledge of products, lead sources, and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of mortgage sales, origination process, and industry standards
- Able to identify and develop Direct-to-Consumer lead sources
- Able to interact with all levels of management, staff, and clients
- Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent mortgage loan processing system computer skills
- Encompass experience preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a clerical office setting; climate-controlled surroundings with adequate lighting and little or moderate noise when in the office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing and photocopying is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL
This position requires minimal travel needed by private vehicle or airline carriers with over-night stays in modern facilities at times. Regional traffic conditions when traveling by car to-and-from business appointments. Mileage reimbursement will be provided at current IRS allowable rates.
