Alder is a leading alarm company that provides high-quality home security solutions to customers across the country. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Alarm Technician to join our team and install alarm systems in residential homes.
Responsibilities:
- Install alarm systems in residential homes according to customer specifications and Alder's installation guidelines
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with alarm systems during installation or after installation
- Provide customer training on how to operate and maintain their alarm systems
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and Alder's support staff
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Clean driving record and background check
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of alarm systems and installation techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
Experience:
- No experience required as we provide best in class training
- 1 years of experience in alarm system installation or a related field is a plus
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
