Summary
As a Barista, Retail & Deli Attendant (Drinkery Bartender), you’ll help create memorable experiences for our guests—whether they’re enjoying a drink, dining, or browsing the Drinkery. You’ll mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and care while ensuring every interaction is warm, welcoming, and attentive. Your goal is to make guests feel welcome, important, and relaxed.
We're looking for someone who can...
- Warmly welcome guests and accurately take beverage orders.
- Prepare a wide range of delicious drinks from coffee to cocktails.
- Accurately handle Drinkery and Gift Shop transactions.
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked and maintain a tidy workspace.
- Inform guests about our food and beverage offerings and unique items available in our gift shop, sharing insights on the resort's amenities and local attractions.

Qualifications
- Required | Must be 21 years of age or older
- Required | 1 years' Barista experience
- Desirable | Bartending experience is a plus
- Flexible work availability including weekends required
- Equivalent education, skills, and/or experience necessary to perform the essential functions may be considered
Required Permits & Certifications
- WA Food Worker Card required within 14 days after hire
- WA Class 12/13 Alcohol Server Permit (MAST) required within 60 days after hire

Collaboration & Engagement
As a Drinkery Bartender, you will work under the direct guidance of the Director of Food & Beverage Outlets. In addition to your home department, you may occasionally interface with other departments. You will not oversee other staff and can expect a significant level of interaction with guests and the public .
Foundational & Prerequisite Skills
- Basic safety-consciousness, knowledge of food regulations (handling, sanitation, storage), related industry terminology, knowledge, standards and best practices, basic math, and knowledge of beer, wine, mixology and spirits.
- Intermediate written composition, comprehension, and English (reading, writing).
- Advanced spoken English.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Physical Demands. The employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand for extended periods, walk, demonstrate hand dexterity, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, push, pull, or crouch. Occasionally, the employee may lift or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision. The role may also require sustained visual and mental concentration.
- Work Environment. The position operates indoors in controlled settings with minimal temperature variation and moderate noise levels. The position may also involve working near chemicals.
