General Position Summary:
Assists in the daily operation of Masi Shop Espresso Stand, including daily tasks, customer services and other activities related to the operation of the Espresso Stand.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Provides Clearly Superior Customer Service to all customers
- Opens and closes the latte stand
- Ensures all drink orders are prepared in a timely and efficient manner
- Completes accurate cash transactions
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work area
- Promotes excellent customer service
Secondary Functions:
- Maintains stock room in orderly manner
- Monitors inventory and advises management of supply needs
- Other duties as assigned by Lead Barista
Specific Job Skills:
- Experienced in providing excellent customer service
- Excellent math skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a number of people at one time
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or GED required. One (1) year experience working in espresso stands. Ability to obtain a SERV SAFE certification. Must possess a general knowledge of drink preparation and recipes.
Job Conditions:
Working conditions include working in an enclosed setting. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions or working alone. Requires being available to work evenings, weekends or when an employee calls in sick.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time. Manual dexterity for use of cash registers and computers. Ability to lift 40 lbs.
