Alderson Loop is seeking an IT Sales Business Analyst to join a project with an enterprise utility / energy organization. This role will act as a key bridge between sales operations and IT, ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives and enhance overall productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, sales processes, and IT systems implementation.
Key Responsibilities : Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering :
Collaborate with sales stakeholders to understand their processes, challenges, and objectives.
Conduct in-depth analyses of current sales processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
Gather, document, and validate business requirements for new IT solutions or enhancements.
System Implementation & Optimization :
Work closely with IT developers and vendors to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications.
Oversee the implementation of new sales systems or enhancements to existing platforms.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
Data Management & Reporting :
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of sales data across various IT systems.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to sales teams.
Support data-driven decision-making with in-depth analysis of sales performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration :
Serve as the primary liaison between the IT department and sales teams, facilitating communication and alignment.
Provide training and support to end-users for sales systems and tools.
Identify and escalate issues that may impact the successful implementation of sales IT solutions.
Continuous Improvement & Industry Trends :
Proactively seek opportunities to enhance sales processes through technology and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into sales IT strategies.
Maintain documentation, including process maps, user guides, and training materials.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within sales operations and IT.
Strong understanding of sales processes and IT system implementations.
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Ability to conduct UAT and provide system optimization recommendations.
Strong data management and reporting skills, including dashboard creation.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working in an enterprise utility or energy organization is a plus.
