Metal Manager - Aldora Aluminum & Glass Products, Inc.
We are looking for a dynamic leader that is interested in not only developing a close knit team but driving aluminum sales. Our customers are improtant and this leader needs to be able to provide estimates and excellent communication every step of the way. The Metal Manager manages the fabrication department, production schedules, inventory levels and delivery. Lead the metal division insides sales and administration staff. Evaluate and modify issues that arise, supports subordinates' growth, coordinates activities, and support our customers.
Essential Duties
Drive aluminum sales
Provide product expertise to customers and staff
Provide accurate information for lead times, delivery dates, problems, etc.
Follow up on quotes, review, and close deals
Provide daily production instructions to staff
Manage purchase orders and receiving material through company purchasing software and proper procedures
Manage labor costs by effectively scheduling your team
Manage inventory levels to current inventory turn levels
Provide accurate monthly counts in a timely manner
Plan inventory purchases accordingly based on customer orders and forecasting
Qualifications
Experience with aluminum storefront material, door and frame fabrication and general building codes.
Use micro soft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Entrepreneurial spirit – (Treats business as his/her own)
Initiative-taker and collaborator
Great leadership and communications skills
