Garnishment Supervisor-Recovery Job Description:
This position reports to the Garnishment Manager and works primarily with garnishments that are filed within Georgia as well as other states. This position collects money due to Aldridge Pite Haan on recent garnishments filed.
- Preparing disbursements for courts
- Requesting that funds held in the courts be condemned.
- Following up with courts for money to be released to APH
- Preparing traverses for any answers we think are insufficient or untrue.
- Preparing default judgments against garnishees that fail to answer.
- Determining garnishment answers that need to be entered by Provana
- Preparing satisfactions of DJAG when defaults are settled.
- Reviewing garnishment response diary codes in CLS to make sure they are up to date.
- Familiar with Pacer, Peach Court, and Odyssey
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business preferred; high school diploma required.
- No experience required but experience in dealing with garnishments preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn quickly, including computer systems and business processes.
- Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and work in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
