This position is for an Instructional Coordinator for Science, for the 2025-2026 school year.
Administrative/Professional Plan - Grade 3, 12 month.
Primary responsibility of this role is to support classroom teaching to ensure an aligned and articulated instructional program. Collaborate with teachers on instructional strategies, content knowledge, co-planning for instruction, modeling, co-teaching, professional development, analyzing student data, supporting collaborative team meetings and the PLC process, sharing resources and promoting district, campus, and teacher goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree with specialization/endorsement
Master’s degree preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and instructional best practices
Ability to interpret data and evaluate instruction programs and teaching effectiveness
Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Shows aptitude to design quality curriculum, aligned assignments, and instructional strategies/resource alignment
Works collaboratively with others in decision-making and works to provide assistance on major initiatives
Possesses personal attributes of integrity, honesty, courage, enthusiasm, optimism, stability under pressure, flexibility, good judgment, a sense of humor, and self-confidence
Strives to continually improve leadership and mentoring/coaching skills and abilities, setting a climate for a learning community of those mentored/coached
Experience:
Minimum of five years teaching experience
Experience in instructional leadership roles and professional development training preferred
