Position Summary :
As a Director, R&D you will be responsible for providing technical and project leadership as well as individual support to the development and commercialization of Alembic products.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Lead and support the design, development, and commercialization of products through Design Control
- Lead technology and product feasibility programs.
- Contribute throughout all R&D activities including activities such as testing and reporting through high level development product portfolios.
- Recruit, manage and develop engineers and technicians.
- Develop internal and external resources required for product and technology development.
- Effectively communicate with physicians and sales / marketing personnel as well as regulatory bodies (FDA)
- Execute activities in a collaborative manner.
- Resolve issues, identify, and improve efficiency and effectiveness of product and technology development.
- Lead and support development of IP, as needed.
- Participate in the strategic planning and budget process. Develop project schedules, budgets, and headcount requirements for R&D Projects
- Ensure quality assurance standards, guidance standards and regulatory requirements are achieved.
- Proactively support the company’s R&D goals and objectives, policies and procedures, the Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO / MDR regulations and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills :
Salary Range : 185,000-$225,000 DOE
