The Hours
The hours for this position are 5 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm, although that can change slightly depending on the needs of the business. We work 10 hour shifts, Monday - Thursday.
During our busy season we anticipate there being some Overtime available. Busy season typically runs from April-July but this can change subject to the needs of the business.
The Pay
The Material Handler II (Production) position pays $17.50 / hour.
The Location
We are located at 51 Scarborough Lane, Milford, NH. This position is onsite.
Additional Job Details
- Follows and complies with all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains individual work area / equipment in a neat, orderly manner.
- Obtain and maintain proper training for powered industrial trucks. Maintain daily logs.
- Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment / tooling, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Use material handling equipment such as hand and powered pallet movers and some powered packing equipment such as banders and stretch wrap machine.
- Use WMS system to keep inventory accurate.
- Locate, pick, move and store material and equipment according to established procedures, both written and verbal.
- Stretch Wrap pallets.
- Maintain proper documentation and records using various paper forms, computer systems, or RF Scan Guns.
- Count items and audit pallets for inventory accuracy.
- Pick Finished Goods cases per customer order.
- Label individual cases as per labeling instructions.
- Build pallets per customer specs.
- Perform other duties as directed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands to handle or touch, reach, talk, hear, and smell. The employee may be required to kneel, crouch, sit, climb, or balance. The employee may lift and / or move up to more than 50 pounds with assistance. Employees need to be able to stand for 8-10 hours. The employee needs to be able to do repetitive lifting motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and aromas. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
